Peace_Coffee

Peace Coffee House was established in 1992 by Rick and Tracy Meisterheim. It
was inspired by a quaint coffee house in Phoenix Arizona (the Fiddler's Dream)
where Rick continues to perform while on music tours. Peace Coffee House
began in the town of Wolverine, Michigan at a small restaurant called Mr. D's,
(now named The Whistle Stop). A few years later, the program moved to the
Jordan River Art Center in East Jordan, Michigan where it continues to be part
of their performing arts line-up. The art center creates a special atmosphere with
acoustic music (performing art) surrounded by new, exquisite art displays each
month. Rick and Tracy continue to host, book music and run the coffee house
along with other volunteers, on the second Saturday of each month from
November through May.
